Complaints process

It is really important to us that you are pleased with your purchase and the service you have received. If there is something you are not happy with, we would like the opportunity to put this right for you.

We will always respond within 24 working hours of any complaint. Alternatively you can visit a branch and ask to speak to a manager.

Our code of practice for complaints

We hope that you’re pleased with any purchase you’ve made or service you’ve received from The Garage Door Company, and that you’ll never have reason to complain – but if there’s something you’re not happy with, we’d like you to hear from you so that we can try to put matters right.

Complaint handling and dispute resolution process

In the first instance, if you’re in one of our showrooms, do ask to speak to a manager, or call or email the showroom as soon as possible. If you’re still not happy with our response, please contact us using one of these options. If you call us, we’ll try to sort out your complaint while you’re on the phone. If this isn’t possible, the advisor will agree a course of action with you.

We are open for business

The Garage Door Company is now taking bookings for home surveys whilst ensuring we work within strict government guidelines to prevent the spread of the virus.

The new protocol for conducting our site surveys will be

· Please call the central booking line or your local branch if you would like to arrange a free site survey, a guaranteed time and date will be reserved for you.

· We will phone all customers, 10 minutes prior to arrival to ask the customer to open the garage door, and to ask that the customer remain inside their own property.

· The survey will be conducted alone ensuring they take photos of both the inside and outside garage (As way of safe guarding us and you the customer)

· We will phone you the customer informing you that the survey has now been conducted and that they are safe to go and close up the garage.

· All quotes will be sent via email all other discussions can be done remotely.
